Goods Shed Update

While the work on the Station platform was being carried out earlier in the year, the condition of the goods shed decking was assessed by the contractors for potential replacement. John Holland Rail has since approved and funded the work.

Over the October Long weekend, contractors DSL Construction and ELS Projects were back at the station precinct to carry out the work.

Using rough sawn boards to replicate the existing decking, the old boards were replaced where required, the missing section on the western end was reinstated and two new set of steps were constructed to allow safer access.
